Library Research Using GALILEO

GALILEO is an online library of databases that provides authoritative information that isn't available through free search engines.

Through GALILEO, you have access to over 100 databases that include journal articles, eBooks, photographs, maps and charts, directories, streaming video, dictionaries, and more.

Check out the Library Research Using GALILEO LibGuide to find out how to use GALILEO to meet your research needs. You will learn how to log into GALILEO, find eBooks and articles, and how to use the database, Opposing Viewpoints in Context.

Accessing GALILEO Off-Campus Using OpenAthens

OpenAthens provides secure access to CPTC GALILEO resources through single sign-on when users are off campus.

CPTC students, faculty, and staff will use their full CPTC email address and password to log into GALILEO versus using a password.

GALILEO is still accessible on campus without having to log in.

For more information on using OpenAthens to log into GALILEO, visit the OpenAthens LibGuide.
