What is OpenAthens?
OpenAthens provides secure access to CPTC GALILEO resources through single sign-on when users are off campus.
CPTC students, faculty, and staff will use their full CPTC email address and password to log into GALILEO versus using a password.
GALILEO is still accessible on campus without having to log in.
Logging Into GALILEO Using Open Athens
1. Click on the GALILEO link on the CPTC Library Services page.
2. Click on the GALILEO logo or the blue, hyperlinked title stating, "Go to GALILEO Home Page".
3. Type "Coastal Pines Technical College" into the Search Bar.
4. Click on Coastal Pines Technical College then click "Go".
5. You will be redirected to the CPTC sign in page. Sign in using your full CPTC email address and password.
