Online Learning Starter Guide

All new students are required to complete the Online New Student Orientation. You will be prompted to enter your CPTC e-mail address and password. You do not have to do or send anything once completed, we access a completion report in the system. The orientation should take you less than an hour to complete.

Your e-mail address is on your acceptance letter. Your password is CptcMMDDYY. This is your six-digit birthday. For example, if your birthday were April 1, 1995, the password would be Cptc040195. Remember it must be a capital C.

In addition to the online orientation piece, you are invited to attend the optional Stingray Success sessions that will cover more in depth topics including the different computer systems you will use as a student and the resources available to you through Coastal Pines. Please register here to let us know you will be attending.

The Stingray Success sessions have been moved completely online. There will be no on-site sessions for Summer Semester due to COVID-19.
