MLA Style Guide

This LibGuide is a quick resource for citing references and using and understanding MLA style often used in the humanities. It does not replace MLA's official style manuals -- The MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers (ninth edition) or The MLA Style Manual and Guide to Scholarly Publishing (third edition). If you have questions about citing sources in your work, consult the manuals and talk to your instructor.
