APA vs MLA
APA and MLA are two of the most common citation styles. APA (American Psychological Association) is used in social sciences like psychology and education and MLA (Modern Language Association) used in humanities such as literature and language.
While both styles are excellent choices for citing your sources, they both vary in requirements. If you aren't sure which citation format you should be using for an assignment, it is best to ask your instructor, regardless of the topic you plan to research and write about.
