In a Library Orientation, students learn:
- How to use the Online Library Catalog.
- How to find information in GALILEO and where to turn for help.
- How to navigate LibGuides (Contact us to collaborate on a custom LibGuide for your class or to enhance a current LibGuide)
- How to locate materials in the library.
- How to find and evaluate sources.

Embedding the Online Library Orientation into Blackboard
Faculty can embed the Online Library Orientation into their courses on Blackboard. This will automatically take students through the pre-test, orientation, post-test, and survey. Instructions for embedding the Library Orientation are posted below.
