What is TechShare?
TechShare is a service where you can request library books from other schools in the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG).
Who can use TechShare?
Students, Staff, and Faculty at all TCSG schools.
What can I borrow?
Circulating books only. AV materials and reference books are not available through TechShare.
How long can I keep the book?
28 days, with 2 automatic renewals
Is there a cost?
No. There are no overdue fines, but you will be charged a replacement cost if you lose or damage a book.
Can the book be recalled?
Yes, and fines may apply if the book is not promptly returned.
Making a TechShare Request
1. Sign into the Stingray Library Catalog and search for an item. Once you have found the item, select the other institution you would like to request it from under "Get It from Other Institutions".
2. Select the institution to borrow from and click "Request".
3. Change the pickup institution to Coastal Pines Technical College and change pickup location to your location (Alma, Baxley, Camden, Golden Isles, Hazlehurst, Jesup, Waycross). Click "Send Request". That's it! Now, wait to receive an email that the book has arrived at Coastal Pines.
