The National Women’s History Museum is a nonpartisan, nonprofit educational institution that celebrates the historic contributions of women.

The National Women’s History Project recognizes and celebrates the diverse and historic accomplishments of women by providing informational services and educational and promotional materials.

Women’s History Month is a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture and society and has been observed annually in the month of March in the United States since 1987.
